Unfortunately.....
Well, it turns out we're not going to try to sell our home after all. Yet. The value of our place has gone down too much and it's not worth what we owe on it, so we would be losing money to sell it. Unfortunately we can't afford to take the hit. So we'll be sticking around in this little place until the market goes back up or until we can afford to get out. At least it's a beautiful place. Our dreams of buying a real home will have to wait. :)

Affy, so sorry about the news! We also live in a small place for pretty much the same reasons! At least it's easier to clean!
Sorry to hear that. If it's any consolation, I live in a 1 br apt. for more per month than any of my siblings' mortgage payments! LA housing is a joke!
What's a real home? It looks like your house is at least as big as ours, but I've always thought of it as a real home! Seattle market is much higher too though, and we don know we won't be here forever. But probably through 4 kids! :)
Bummer, that's the problem with the market right now. Sorry you can't sell right now. But, that just means you and I can be close neighbors for longer and maybe do better at getting together for playdates with the kids and some adult time.
That is a bummer, but at least it looks so darn cute. I thought it was adorable when we came to visit and you made it look so cute when you staged it.
Dang! I guess we're all suffering from the economy right now. Sorry! But, your house does look great--just think, now you get to live in it this way for a while longer! :)
i love your little house! i'd move into that house! we live in a 1 bedroom and it is pretty small, i too can't wait to move into a real home someday-sigh-. i'm so glad we can keep in touch through this blog!
