Chris and Maggie and I finally went outside together! It was a beautiful day and Maggie got to play on the grass and explore leaves and twigs and dirt and it was so refreshing to get out. Here are a few pictures of our outing.

Surprise!
Mower baby #3 is on its way! I know it's very early to be announcing, but I don't usually have as much time to enjoy it as I'd like so I'm staking my claim early! This is a surprise for us and we knew that our next pregnancy would be highly involved and difficult and would take planning, time, and self-educating to prepare ourselves, and therefore we are quite overwhelmed. I am seeing a second high-risk specialist on Wednesday to determine a pregnancy plan. Despite our many fears Chris and I are getting very excited! We have wanted another baby for so long.

A New Discovery

Chris and I were introduced to the world of Anime (Japanese animation) last year by his brother Daniel and his wife Alina. We have definitely enjoyed some amazing series and great movies by Hiyao Miyazaki! Some of our favorites are "Last Exile" (series), "Scrapped Princess" (series), "Fruits Basket" (series), "Spirited Away" (Hiyao Miyazaki), "My Neighbor Totoro" (I think Hiyao Miyazaki), "Samurai 7" (series), and "Haibane Renmei" (series). I have been completely amazed at the detail and depth of character that is a defining characteristic of Anime! Anime teaches profound lessons about individual worth, love, friendship, sacrifice, and duty. It might seem silly but every time I watch Anime I am deeply moved and inspired to believe in myself and in others. Now, there are hundreds of different genres of Anime and certainly they are not all good or worth seeing, but there are a few gems that we have discovered that are funny, inspiring, dramatic, and beautiful.
